Farm Activities
Guests are welcome to participate in some of the day to day activities around the farm. You can choose to take part in some of the farm chores or just watch what goes on in a real working farm

Kookaburra's Rest offers guests the opportunity to the ride their horse(s) in an authentic farm environment. Kookaburra's Rest has its own horses, so there are already on farm facilities for anyone who brings their own horse.

The Otway's is a photographers paradise, with numerous waterfalls and streams in amongst the rainforest. You can scarcely go more than 100 metres without stopping to take a photo. Authentic Working Farm
Kookaburra's Rest is an authentic working dairy farm with cows, pigs, horses, goats, chooks plus the farms cats and dogs, so for anyone who loves animals and /or would like to introduce their children to a typical farm environment, then Kookaburra's Rest is the perfect spot.
4WD Tours
The Otway's is 4WD heaven, with a number of old logging roads which lead to some of the least accessible parts of the Otway's. These roads are rarely used, so on many occasions you will have the whole area to yourself.

Trail Rides
Guests who are more into two wheel rather than four legs are welcome to bring their Mountain Bikes as there are a number of tracks close to Kookaburra's rest that offer excellent riding conditions.
Bush Walking
The area around Kookaburra's Rest is ideal bush walking country with walking tracks and bush land with a few hundred metres of the property
